Weekly Roundup: March 5, 2026

Check out this week's roundup of the good things going on at GDG! Stories this week feature a donation to an animal shelter in Nevada, baby clothes donated to an organization in Nebraska, and Christmas ornaments made for a retirement home in Minnesota.

Hailey - Nevada

Hailey donating supplies to a local animal shelter
"With my $100 I decided to donate supplies to my local animal shelter. I bought food, toys, cleaning products, scratchers, and more! The shelter was very pleased and so thankful for my donations. This helped them by being able to give more things to the animals whether it was a scratcher or a bed."

Madilyn - Nebraska

"I used the money to purchase baby clothes and needed items to donate to a local baby boutique that helps moms get necessities for their new babies. I shopped during sales and used coupons to help the money go further and get more clothes! I really like babies and like that this organization helps moms in need choose life and take care of their babies."

Summer - Minnesota

"I volunteer every other weekend at a retirement home where I play piano. My friend Aditi and I used our $100 to make Christmas ornaments and hand them out to the seniors. It made us so happy to see their faces light up as they received a homemade ornament!"
