The Benjamin Project: student-led service learning
Global Doing Good is partnering with middle school educators across the country to connect students with service learning opportunities through The Benjamin Project. This student-led community service program provides participants with seed money to make a difference in their community.
The foundation of The Benjamin Project is to let students lead and learn independently from start to finish. We hope that community organizations, nonprofits, and local leaders will support our participating students, encourage their initiative, and help them get the most out of this unique opportunity.
How It Works
This service-based program offers a compelling learning opportunity with minimal support needed from educators and parents. It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
- Educators nominate up to 10 students
- Participants receive $100 seed money on behalf of Global Doing Good for their project
- Students report back at the end of the program
That’s it! The power of The Benjamin Project is in the simplicity and freedom for students.
