Service Learning Trips
Our Service Learning Trips are designed to delve deeper into service by providing experiences in a cross-cultural setting. These trips are geared towards previous Benjamin Project participants, students eager to serve beyond their community, or those interested in exploring a future career within the nonprofit sector. Service Learning Trips are tailored to cultivate a lifelong commitment to making a difference locally and globally.
Service Examples
In the past, participants have:
- Built homes for families in need
- Provided much-needed maintenance to schools
- Planted trees to support reforestation
Service Learning Trips go beyond the act of service itself.
Through meaningful engagement with local communities, participants gain insights into what service truly means within different cultural contexts. By engaging in reflective discussions and interactions with locals, we aim to empower young individuals to not only make a difference in their own communities but also develop a broader sense of purpose and empathy that transcends geographical boundaries.
