From stocking local food banks to bringing joy to children in need, see what happens when Benjamin Project students take the lead! In this edition, a Montana student donates groceries to her local food bank, a Minnesota student crafts appreciation gifts for teachers, and a Nevada student shares how her "heart overflowed with joy" buying clothes and toys for a child in need. Closing out the week, a Florida student shares how exploring Washington, D.C. inspired her appreciation for past leaders who built a better future.

The Benjamin Project

With the $200 that we received, we bought a bunch of food and donated it to the Bozeman food bank. It had a big impact on my community and they were very ecstatic about all of the food. I loved doing this project as it made me feel so amazing about helping others and really just supporting my community.

Kailee - Minnesota

Throughout our project we learned that it is good to give back to the teachers and helpers who shape our school district. Also we enjoyed seeing the happiness on everyone's faces. This whole thing helped us realize the good as well as the toughness. A lot of the teachers don't get enough back and doing this gave them a little boost to get through the rest of the day and year.

The Benjamin Project

Carsynn - Nevada

I really enjoyed going to shop for such a good cause. My heart overflowed with joy when I was able to purchase clothes, shoes, socks, toys, and all the necessities for a child in need. I felt like I really got to connect to her by seeing what she likes and would like to have. I feel like this is such a good way to connect to the community, and help out others in need. If I have the chance I would really want to do this again, It was such an awesome experience.

Founders Scholarship

Layla - Florida

I had a chance to experience an amazing trip to D.C with my school, and I would like to share my experience with you.

Throughout the trip, my favorite part was being able to learn a lot of history about our nation and being able to have fun and explore places I’ve never been to before. My favorite places included the memorials. Not only did we take the best photos there, but we also had the best memories there. It showed us how hard our presidents and the people in our nation work to make it a good place for new generations to have the best lives. Thank you so much for your support. Thank you so much for awarding me the scholarship that helped me to get to DC. This was an unbelievable experience.

Thank you so much.
