Weekly Roundup: October 29, 2026

October 29, 2026

Expanding book access and comforting families through tough times—see how our Benjamin Project students are making an impact! Our latest stories feature a California student building and stocking a Little Free Library for his community, a Minnesota student supporting her dance teacher's family after a heartbreaking loss, and a Colorado student gifting essential classroom supplies to local teachers. Rounding out the week, a Montana student shares how exploring historic landmarks in Washington, D.C. and New York City made history come alive.

The Benjamin Project

Ethan - California

With my $100 I made a little free library so everyone in my community could have reading access to new books.

The Benjamin Project

Braelee - Minnesota

I used my $100 dollars to support my dance teacher and her family who live in my community and just lost their father/husband. I got the kids clothes and toys. I got the mom a gift card to a spa to treat herself. When we gave the presents to the family they gave us hugs and told us thank you. I knew they meant it because I knew they were going through a hard time and were very thankful.

The Benjamin Project

Reese - Colorado

I used the money from the Benjamin Project to buy various supplies for teachers around Colorado. I bought some fidgets, pens, etc. I thought that the Benjamin Project was really cool, and I loved how it worked! I am so happy I got to give back to my community and help out the people who work the hardest.

Founders Scholarship

Leah - Montana

Thank you so much for giving me a scholarship to go to Washington DC. It was such a fun experience, and the money really helped me and my family to pay for the trip. I have never been to DC or New York before, so it was very exciting. We went to many museums, including the 9/11 museum, the Holocaust museum, and more. I got to travel to a beautiful place with my friends, and I made so many new memories. I got to go to the U.S. Capitol buildings, memorials, and even got to see the White House! It was such a cool trip, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
